The Story Behind The Comapny
Chris knew from an early age that having a career in the building industry was something he wanted to do. Chris’s father was a builder and he lived and breathed building sites having spent most of his childhood tagging along with his father to job sites helping, learning and developing a deep appreciation and love for carpentry.
Box Hill TAFE Apprenticeship Award
At the end of 2003, Chris made the decision to leave school and pursue an apprenticeship in carpentry, commencing a Certificate III in Carpentry (Framework, Formwork & Finishing) in early 2004.
Over the course of the apprenticeship, Chris worked under the guidance of 3 different builders which gave him the benefits of a broad range of hands on skillset and knowledge within the industry.
First Place Awards
Chris’ determination, hard work and impeccable skills lead to him been awarded the Box Hill TAFE First Place Stage 2 Onsite Award in his second year of study. During his apprenticeship, Chris not only learnt the craft of carpentry but also various skills required to run a successful building and carpentry business.
Working As A Contract Carpenter
After successfully completing his apprenticeship in 2006, Chris continued to work as a contract carpenter for a builder he trained with to further build on his knowledge and training.
Building Townhouse Complexes
In 2007, Chris moved to Rosebud working with a building team to construct a series of double story townhouses. These builds were instrumental in Chris learning more about the strategic and complex processes involved with building a home from start to finish.
New Homes, Extensions And Decks
On returning to Melbourne, Chris commenced sub-contracting for a local builder in Dandenong. This saw him undertaking a broad range of building projects from new homes, house extensions and complete home renovations right through to decks, pergolas and fencing.
During his time working with this particular builder, Chris spent time working in Echuca renovating and restoring an old Federation style home which gave him a greater appreciation for older style homes. Renovating old homes to bring them back to their former glory is an area Chris is passionate about.
The Mecure Hotel – Sebel
In 2011, Chris made the change to subcontracting for another builder who worked predominantly within the hotel industry. This saw Chris being involved in the complete refurbishment of the Grand Mercure, now The Sebel – an elegant, boutique hotel in Flinders Lane, Melbourne.
Upon completion of the refurbishment, Chris moved on to sub-contract with a builder in Berwick where they focussed on new homes builds in the South Eastern suburbs and also a custom modern masterpiece in Inverloch.
From The Bayside Suburbs to Cape Paterson
From 2015 to 2017, Chris was the head carpenter and site supervisor for a builder developing dual occupancy townhouses in Bentleigh, Hampton and Moorabbin.
Chris oversaw these townhouse builds from all the way from the initial site cut through to handover and was involved in every aspect and decision of the building process.
During 2017, Chris decided to further his career and commenced studying with Builder Registration in preparation for applying for the unlimited Victorian Builders Licence, which he successfully obtained in December 2017.
Throughout 2018, Chris and his team worked with an owner/builder constructing their custom double story home on a sloping tree block in Belgrave.
From there, Chris and his team completed a full home renovation, deck and pergola in Ringwood and a complete home renovation in Clarinda.
In 2019, Chris and his team moved to pretty beachside Cape Paterson where they built a custom high-end double story weatherboard home.
Back in Melbourne, Chris and his team moved on to various projects including a laundry extension in Vermont, house renovation in Bentleigh and pergola in Knoxfield.
The end of 2020 saw Chris and his team demolishing a first floor deck and reconstructing a vastly larger deck and outdoor entertaining area, and a home extension in Wantirna South.
Chris And His Family
Chris currently resides in the South Eastern suburb of Officer with his wife Morgan, two young daughters, Holly and Mia and their 2 lovable Labradors, Makita and Freddy.
With a long family history in the home building sector, Chris’ family has been the supportive and formative driving force behind obtaining his builders licence and furthering his career within the domestic building industry.
Given his enthusiasm and love of all types of building work, ranging from faithfully recreating Federation style properties, renovating old homes through to building ultra modern and eco friendly homes, Chris has worked with clients all over Victoria.

Chris loves nothing more than building beautiful new homes from the planning stages through to completion, and the satisfaction and enjoyment of handing over the keys to his clients dream home on the handover date.
